Materials Analyst/Sample Prep Technician

Nanolab Technologies, a Eurofins Materials Science company, is looking for an individual to be responsible for processing/imaging STEM/TEM samples using FEI 4xx/Helios Dual Bean FIB tools and TEM sample preparation of lamella. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline or at least 2 years of focused experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation, experience with TEM sample preparation is highly desirable. Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis (through previous work experience or course work); Knowledge and recent hands-on experience with TEM sample preparation is a plus.

Nanolab is looking for a scientist who will be responsible for the promotion and growth of the Atom Probe business, working closely with manufacturer to develop advanced 3D characterization technique and providing advanced training to team members, new users on equipment operation and technical analysis. Successful candidate will have a PhD in Materials Science with minimum 3-year hands on experience in Atom Probe Tomography and Dual Beam Focused Ion Beam/ Scanning Electron Microscopy, minimum 3-year experience in FIB sample preparation for Atom Probe and APT/TEM characterization of materials.
