Production Control

Nanolab Technologies is looking for a detail oriented coordinator to work between customers, production control dept. and scientists to deliver client data in a timely and reliable manner. In this role, you will perform data entry, support and plan activities including obtaining purchase orders, acquiring answers for both clients and scientists, and other administrative activities to ensure on time job delivery. This role routinely works independently and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail, organizational skills and meeting deadlines. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP or other ERP, database a plus.

Required work schedule: Tuesday through Friday- 3:30pm-12:30am and Saturday 1pm-10pm

TEM Materials Analyst

Nanolab Technologies is part of the Eurofins EAG Laboratories group, a leader in advanced microscopy, surface analysis and semiconductor testing services of various types of materials from synthetic biomaterials to nanotechnology, deliver new “super materials” with the potential to transform our world. Nanolab is looking for a strong TEM Engineer who has experience operating and analyzing various materials using TEM. In this role, the individual will be responsible for obtaining Bright Field, High resolution, diffraction patterns, dark field TEM and HAADF STEM images of samples prepared by others in the lab, obtaining STEM/EDX and STEM/EELS spectra, line scans and maps to meet customers’ needs, organize data, prepare and deliver summary reports to customers, work with customers and team members to optimize experiments and explain results and develop TEM analysis protocols for new sample types. Ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in Materials Science, hands on familiarity using a TEM to characterize hard materials, an excellent understanding of the operation and theory of a Transmission Electron Microscope, familiar with Jeol 2100, 2010F TEM/STEM, Digital Micrograph. Familiarity with FEI Tecnai/Talos TEM is a plus.

Materials Analyst, Dual Beam

Nanolab Technologies is looking for a Technician or Analyst for our Dual Beam group. Primary function would be TEM sample preparation of lamella for imaging of client samples using FEI 4xx/Helios Dual Beam FIB tools. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques. Ideal candidates must have AA, BS and MS degree in Materials Science or Engineering Physical Science and experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation, solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis (through previous work experience or course work), comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). Experience in TEM sample preparation is highly desirable.

Note the work hours for this position could be swing shift starting at 5pm or evening shift starting at 9pm, holidays and weekends.

Materials Analyst, SEM

Nanolab Technologies, a Eurofins company is looking for a SEM Materials Analyst to join our Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) engineering team. Job functions include Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Imaging, sample prep cross-sectioning, microcleaving. The individual will work closely with tool vendors to understand tool performance and develop new techniques to improve throughput, perform basic tool maintenance and calibration, communicate with customers and prepare PowerPoint reports. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques.
