Imaging a device in real time, non-destructively, allows inspection at multiple magnifications, angles, and X-ray source settings. Often used to examine wire bonding, die attach voiding, and via construction. Applications of RTX include internal dimensioning, good versus bad, locating opens and shorts, and more.

Global uses of RTX imaging include prototype evaluation, customer returns, reliability rejects, production control, materials development, quality control, problem solving, failure analysis, and reverse engineering.

Data produced by RTX include X-ray images, gray scale density map of X-rays, dimensional sizing and, if you are in need of special data, give us a call.

Strengths and Advantages of RTX include:

    • Fast (less than 5 minutes)
    • Non-destructive
    • Spatial resolution: 0.2µ
    • Locate defects inside unit
    • Check layout as is
    • Multiple angle viewing
